Wanted to be liked, but no.

Updated after other negatives were found. see latest version 2. PROs+ Volume slider works but sometimes it increases by 25% per slide. + Comfortable + Sound quality is ok, better than most. CONS - Terrible battery life - No customizable EQ. - No independent modules. It is necessary that the left was outside the case. This means that both earbuds will die at the same time. When I'm in the office or at home, I usually just use the right pod. The right capsule stopped working for music immediately after a firmware update. Only calls and Siri worked on the right pod. A factory reset should work again and I'm worried it could happen again at any time. - Some gestures cannot be disabled. ie: I want to disable the 2s hold for the assistant or be able to do something else. - Case and overall hardware appear cheap - Distortion if something is near the modules during use - MobVoi app support in Chinese only. - Youtube and Youtube Music will not autoplay when reinstalling modules. Spotify did it. - Only charges from USBA to USBC. Don't use fast chargers, so you'll need an extra charger if you've already upgraded all your home and work chargers to USBC. It sucks when you buy 2020 headphones. I am very concerned if these headphones are worth $99. In fact, I only bought them for volume control. I'm about 85% ready to return them. It looks like a beta product and I'm not sure if all bugs can be fixed with a firmware update. Update: I will definitely be back. I compared it to the Anker Soundcore Liberty Air 2, which costs the same. Anker Advantage: Wireless charging, works with any USB socket, each capsule is independent, adjustable EQ in the app, good battery life, play/pause works everywhere, and there are oversized headphones. and the app offers multiple ways to contact support [even via chat]. The only thing I'm missing is the volume control.

Pros
  • Superb sound quality: 13mm voice coil provides an immersive listening experience. HiFi protocols such as aptX and AAC are supported. The sound sensitivity reaches 132 dB at 1 kHz.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
