Otterbox is known for their fantastic suitcases. Except for the fit, this does not miss a beat. At first it was too narrow to put my Surface Pro 3 on. I cut the case's rubber connection (between the transparent part covering the back and the adjustable stand) to make it fit perfectly. I did it once. In the best case. This provides maximum surface and keyboard protection. It has magnetic pieces that hold the keyboard in place when it's closed to the case, making it invisible. Not entirely smooth, but perfect grip. Opening and closing the running board also took some getting used to. Requires a bit of attention as the corners enclose the case so well that it provides extra protection against the kickstand opening if dropped. I love this feature. My opinion is 8.5 out of 10 due to my forced modification to make it perfect and the charger is not suitable to charge my surface when fully closed. I had to open the kickstand to connect the charger to my Surface Pro 3. Otherwise, it's the perfect protective case, as you'd expect from Otterbox.
