You either love this camera or you hate it. I like it. After reading the reviews on each of the Sigma DP cameras and owning them all (DP1, DP2, DP1m, DP3m), I realized that the negative reviews were mostly written by people who don't actually own the cameras. . Previous reviewers have pretty much covered the pros and cons (in well-written reviews), no need to repeat it all again. Here are some tips: 1) The odd shape is actually comfortable to use, with a much better coverage area than any previous model (simple rectangle). 2) Only use these cameras for low ISO conditions (400 or less). for color but may be higher for monochrome. 3) For monochrome shots, still shoot in color (instead of using the in-camera black and white setting) as you can change all the different color channels to black and white to *gorgeously* control the monochrome image.
