Excellent image quality and image stabilization. Really worth the money for a new photographer. Or even in between. The only thing I didn't like was the settings menu and the lack of weather protection. No headphone jack or external recording jack. But if you ever use an external capture device, nobody ever plugs it back into the camera, so it's not a problem. Keep in mind that you need to know which settings to turn off to get the best shots. Check out the pros on YouTube as they helped me a lot (and these photos are still not as good as they could be because I accidentally turned on noise reduction).
