Based on the specs, I decided to test this little behemoth with a pair of Klipsch KG 5.5 floorstanding speakers. I used Spotify as input on a PC with a decent sound card and played several variations of club music with heavy bass and lots of treble for a few seconds. The only thing that surprised me was that the small amp fed the speakers without any problems, but also had a very good bass circuit. I have the bass I normally expect when connected to my Adcom audio device. The high-frequency circuit is also quite useful. I cranked the volume up to full and could tell there was a slight crack at the top, but not enough to worry about speaker damage. In the 15 minutes of testing I ran, the unit didn't feel hot, but I didn't crank the base and volume up to full blast either. Claims by many manufacturers. I couldn't get any real specs for this device as the manufacturer/seller doesn't answer these questions or at least doesn't respond to my inquiries. For the price, however, I'll find a good pair of Polk studios. speakers for this amp and it will be the sound system for our tiny bedroom. Unless I'm very lucky I recommend this little amp. Again I haven't had time with this unit. Just wanted to check it out quickly to see if I need to return it as it will be a while before I get it into the bedroom.
