A toddler was putting her Fire 7 in the tub and I needed a quick and cheap replacement. She only uses it for YouTube, Netflix, and a few kid's games—nothing crazy. I thought that would do. I was wrong. The battery life is very short, maybe a few hours of video? If this. My biggest concern is how slow it is! Oh my god just to get on youtube takes forever! Also, the volume is very quiet when cranked all the way up. Needless to say it's coming back and I'll just get another Fire 7. The only thing I liked is that unlike the Fire, I can run all the same apps from the Play Store that I have on my phone. But overall it's too boring for me.
