I bought this quilt to replace our old quilt in our seasonal RV. It comes with two good size pads that go well with the new pads. The pattern is very beautiful, modern and not as shiny as in the picture. Even though it's made of polyester (which wears so well), it feels like jersey. It feels SO soft. I paired it with new light gray cotton sheets and a light colored comforter and it looks better than my bed at home! I washed it immediately upon arrival (in cold water only) and had no problems with it shrinking or unraveling and it doesn't smell as bad as some other bedspreads I've bought in the past. This thinner blanket is perfect for a summer at our camper in Minnesota. I took some photos of the quality stitching going through the bedspread and batting. This form of sewing prevents the batting from sticking together during washing. It was a great purchase. For some reason it is difficult to photograph the fabric to show its true texture and color.
