Review on RAINBEAN Stovetop Espresso Maker: 6-Cup Moka Pot for Classic Italian Coffee & Espresso, Gas or Electric, Aluminum, Black (Gift package with 2 cups) by Tom Reasons

I really wanted to give this little coffee maker 4 stars but I can't bring myself to do it. Why? This is NOT a 6 cup coffee maker. It contains about 10 fl oz. In other words, it holds 1 1/4 cups. It's barely enough to fill the 2 included cups (which are great) even with the addition of cream. I like the small jug and would like the seller to be honest about the 6 cups. Based on my years of experience in the espresso world, this would be better described as a "6 shot" percolator. First I ran distilled water through a percolator. No added coffee. The photos show the discoloration and I don't know where it came from, I just used distilled water with no other additives. Does the cover seem to fall off? It is save? Not sure. Separating a small coffee basket from a water base is not easy. I mean, it's impossible to get it out without getting the coffee beans wet on themselves and on the counter. It looks like there would have to be some sort of denture to be able to reach the tiny basket.
