Review on 🚦 ACDelco GM Original Equipment LS115 Turn Signal and Parking Lamp Socket: Reliable and Convenient Lighting Solution for GM Vehicles by Steve Walton

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Bad design by GM, best in accessories

This socket keeps failing in my 2003 Buick Century because GM seems to be overloading it by leaving the turn signals on all the time as "running lights" and there is no way she gives up to turn. Lightbulbs also suffer from this duty, but I break more than I burn when I remove them to clean the contacts or replace the socket. I almost give it two stars instead of one because it's so easy to remove/replace. There is a long-lasting aftermarket lamp with a high-temperature all-glass construction, but it's expensive and still has poor electrical contact due to overheating.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Some minor things
