I bought this after reading all the positive reviews. Learn that this machine is nothing more than an overrated fan made in China. I bought it with the intention of keeping a small 10x10 room cool enough to sleep comfortably at night. Unfortunately, this machine is best used as a desktop fan. It will only keep you cool if you keep your face straight in front of it. The small volume of the water tank only allows cooling for one and a half hours, at best two hours, and that with the machine's lowest cooling level. Once the fan starts running when the water level is low, the pump will make a slight noise due to lack of water before shutting down. The battery life on a full charge is 3 to 4 hours of continuous use. Pros: Light weight, cool carrying handle, quiet operation, rechargeable battery. Disadvantages: small water tank, limited cooling capacity. Only cools very small areas.
