My grandson is in the process of moving to the office so he can have his own room. I needed a shelf that would fit most of his toys as it would take up less space than two large toy boxes and I didn't want another toy organizer that would be useless as he gets older so a modern bookshelf like this was perfect . for my situation. This was about the size I was looking for. The quality is decent and sturdy, as you can see I have a toy overload. This is faux wood but I love the look and feel and it's lighter than real wood. I have no problem with faux wood, it goes really well with all my decor and modern style. The frame is a decent aluminum metal shelf, no problem here either. Assembly was easy, basically just lifting the frame and then screwing each shelf individually. It took 15-20 minutes maximum. It's a little bigger than I thought it would be, but that's okay because it just means I can fit a lot more toys of different sizes. We have it standing on a wooden floor and it wobbles or doesn't wobble. I put the bigger toys on the bottom so it's not that heavy on top. So far we haven't had any problems trying to tip over or move. There are cross braces on the back that help make it even stronger. It looks great in my grandson's room, takes up little space and holds a lot of stuff! I have a medium sized ottoman that has fewer toys than this shelf which is good. I plan to buy another shelf once I've made room in his room to put another one up for his leftover toys and books. This shelf has proven to be excellent and I will be purchasing another without a problem. Judging by the quality and use, I am very satisfied! Hope that was helpful!
