I purchased this band as a replacement for a silicone band which I did not like from the beginning because it had too much friction against itself to feed through the bands that hold the strap end in place. This band has a pleasing appearance, is easy to fasten and has held up well since I purchased some months ago. It posed a bit of a challenge to install onto the watch mechanism itself, but that type of fine motor task is not my best.
