This blanket is amazing. For years I slept under a cheap blanket I bought from Kohl and often woke up sweaty or had to stretch my legs in the middle of the night to cool off. It's amazing since night #1. I no longer wake up sweaty, I sleep soundly all night and my sleep is more restful because I feel really good. I had to adjust my sleep pattern because I sleep deeply for a full 8 hours, so I have to go to bed earlier or else I'll sleep on the alarm clock. I have bought many down jackets and sleeping bags over the years and I know what you want is real goose down (not duck down and certainly not feather like in cheap duvets) and fill power. Down is great at regulating body heat, so it's unlikely you'll ever wear too much down. This duvet has 750 fills and is warm, fluffy and quite heavy. It's like a weighted blanket and it's amazing. It's also full of goose down and so far, in 2 weeks, I haven't seen a single tuft of down in my room or felt any feathers in the duvet. I could go on but I won't. Just buy it. Sweet Dreams 3 Months Update: I bought it on July 4th and it is now October 8th. It was too hot in the hot summer time, but I don't have air conditioning, so it was 75-80 in my house. I was still able to use the blanket most nights, but only on parts of my body. Now that it's October and the nights are cool (mid 50's) the night is very comfortable and I like it again. I still recommend buying it for those who live in temperate climates. You will enjoy 80% of the year
