It does what it's supposed to. The settings are a bit bare and it takes a few minutes to figure out how to change them. I wish it had three modes; RGB, warm light and cool light; but it only has warm (orange) light and rotating RGB. I really couldn't find any colors in RGB mode that didn't look weird and alien in my home, so we just use a simple warm light setting. I will say that the light seems a bit like a 'ray' through the room and actually casts shadows on my daughter's crib, which I honestly find scarier than the darkness. It would be nice if it was a softer and more indirect light. It's okay, I think it's just teaching my daughter how to go without a night light at all.
