I've been looking for the perfect swimsuit for a long time and hated most of the styles I saw. The hemline was either too revealing or looked like a high-waisted granny. I wanted a simpler swimsuit, not like a grandmother, and here it is: the pattern is bright and beautiful, it fits perfectly. I'm 5'3, 115 pounds and I ordered a small. I agree with another commenter that the bottom is a little tighter. Mine fit me perfectly, but if I gained a few pounds in my bum I would definitely say they would be too tight. So if you carry more weight in the bottom half I would go up a size. I have only carried this kayak on rivers and lakes and the color has not faded using the river and washing machine. I haven't worn it in chlorinated pool water so I can't comment on that.
