Much better than others I've tried
I changed 2 mattress pads last year, both more expensive than this one because neither of them could withstand a wash. If you can't wash them, what's the point? I was very surprised when this arrived as it was much fluffier than I expected, almost like a good quality fleece blanket. Washed immediately according to label directions. It washes great and absorbs a lot of water so I had to wring it out a bit before throwing it in the dryer. It took two cycles in the drum to dry. As for the bed, it's quite comfortable and actually added an extra layer of softness. I am very pleased with the performance, durability and washability of this mattress topper.
