I bought ink instead of the Epson brand because of the prices. It didn't work because the Epson software wouldn't let me print with it. Allison from Smart Ink sent me a new box of cartridges and although I've only tried black so far it works. Allison was very helpful. I blame Epson for the problems and they disgust me. I'm happy with Smart Ink's service, although I'm concerned that Epson will make further changes to force me to use their own inks. This experience makes me very reluctant to try their new Ecotank printer. I used to print color pictures almost every day, but I haven't done that since. A day later, the printer rejects the cartridge again. I had similar issues with an older Epson printer, but here I was able to tell it to ignore the message and just print. That worked for a few years. I really hate this new printer (WF2850).
