Review on Therapists Portable Chiropractic Thoracic Included by Joseph Castillo

Sturdy but useless

If it was just a portable table it would be excellent. The table is very strong and durable, the kind that doesn't force you to lift the patient off the floor after they collapse. The adjustable height is also a plus and it comes with a carry case. The padding is quite thin but can be an advantage when adjusting as it doesn't absorb traction like a sofa cushion. Unfortunately this is a drop chart and most people like me buy it as a working drop, that little 'extra tool' in the tool box when someone is very stressed or sensitive or has tons of fibrous tissue preventing a full/good release, and need a good clear drop or at least a useful drop only to find that this drop mechanism is the worst quality there is. I opened the box, set the table and started testing right away. The lumbar drop will keep me going and stuff. Not crispy, but okay, better than a kick in the butt. I prepared to try the Thoracic Drop and lay down on the table for my wife to correct me. I kept building the tension and couldn't let it stop me. I weigh 185 pounds. it wouldn't even hold my wife at 130 pounds. If I keep trying to increase the tension it just gets to the point where it can no longer be adjusted, literally the lever will not allow it to be moved to the reset position. The loin is the same and I doubt it will carry someone at 200 pounds. I wasn't expecting it to work and be as crisp as my $7500 15 year old Hill HAC 90 but they should at least be able to hold an average sized adult and with some resemblance to a falling one chunks to fall. . A good and bad thing is the location of the tension knobs. They're recessed on the side, which makes them a bit fiddly to use, but the great thing is that they're 100% out of the way. No more bruises or patient ooops. If you don't care about the piece drop feature and just want a portable table this is a winner, if you expect a drop table with a drop feature it's a BIG loser. If the manufacturer had invested in at least an average lowering instead of these quality-looking cheap Taiwanese mechanics, it could have become a reliable all-round table. Too bad they failed. It's coming back as the chest area is defective and there will be an identical look (hopefully not the same manufacturer, renamed. horrible) Sheffield Elite 180. Try it.
