I found out about this shower head/filter from the girl who cuts my hair. She recently moved to our town from a neighboring area where there is well water. She said that after a few weeks she noticed that her hair often fell out. She did a little research and found that Union County, North Carolina, had changed its water sanitizing chemicals used in municipal water supplies a few months before chloramine was introduced. Shortly after we moved to the area, my wife noticed that her hair was also falling out. She attributed it to stress etc. My hairstylist advised us to buy this filter as it worked very well on her. I did and almost immediately my wife noticed that her hair stopped falling out. I've also had issues with small itchy spots on my hands, which also started after we moved to the area. I assumed they were for allergies. The dermatologist didn't know exactly what it was and played pranks on them. After a week or two of using this vitamin C and E filtered showerhead, the rash was gone. I didn't even think it was the water. To be honest I was surprised by the results. It was worth a try but it really seems to help.
