I was looking for a simple yet versatile mic stand for my home and this stand fitted the bill perfectly. It comes with all the mounts you need for different microphone sizes and also allows you to add your own microphone holder to the stand. The iPad/iPhone holder is a nice addition and works very well. I use it with my iPad mini and it fits very well. It will not fit a full-size iPad or tablet. The stand is lightweight, so it needs to be positioned correctly to prevent tipping. Overall I'd say it's pretty stable. A practical carry bag is included. I probably wouldn't use it as a main gig stand, but for home use, recording and rehearsals it's spot on. It's worth the price and I would recommend it for general use.
