They sent me a device with an almost empty battery, which of course cannot be replaced by the user. Additionally, the included machine screws are very soft and the heads snapped off when screwed into the #43 pilot holes I had drilled in mild steel (0.089 inch, just under the thread diameter). I have a full set of Phillips and I put the appropriate bit on the head and adjusted it by hand without using a power tool. Those issues aside, I'm sure it's a great hour meter. It has obviously been on the shelf for many years or the Chinese manufacturer is saving on batteries. If you're selling something like this with a bad battery, I think you should include a good quality lithium coin cell battery, or at least a silver oxide battery. And why not remove the tab to keep the battery fresh until the user installs it? Below is a video showing the problem. This junk goes back to Revain.
