I bought this product together with the new iPad Pro from RNA (2018 version, 12.9 inch model). a new iPad with my B&O Play noise canceling headphones for use on airplanes. I was delighted when, for the first time in the new year of 2018, Apple decided to switch from a Lightning port connector (to a standard USB-C input connector). iPad Pro models (and I hope they continue to use USB-C in their other products like the iPhone, but I don't stop there). So for now, those are the only two new iPad Pro models of 2018 that feature USB-C. While I typically use Bluetooth headphones, I sometimes prefer to use the cable to listen to audio on my iPad (e.g. and there is a noticeable lag from what's on the screen, so I use the cable for these headphones). However, in addition to Apple's move to USB-C, they've also ditched the 3.5mm headphone jack on the new 2018 iPad Pro models (as they did with the iPhone a few years ago). I had to search for just the right adapter cable (and there didn't seem to be a huge range of quality cables with this configuration). So I'm very happy to report that this USB-C to 3.5mm adapter cable from Drift Direct works EXCELLENT with my iPad Pro and B&O Play Noise Canceling Headphones. I hear everything crystal clear with no static or other interference (I was a bit nervous about switching from analog to digital but it seems to work fine for me). Also, the overall build quality of the cable seems very high - a good solid cable (not too thick and not too thin, with good cable flexibility) and there are gold plated (I think gold plated) connectors on both ends of the cable. I would highly recommend this cable to anyone who needs a USB-C (male) to 3.5mm (male) adapter cable. I know that besides Android phone and tablet owners, there must be many new iPad Pro owners who could use a quality cable like this.
