I had a similar sleep mask that wasn't that comfortable and the battery often died before the end of the night so it was time to order a new one. My husband snores. I wear earplugs, but they're not enough to drown out the snoring, and turning on the white noise on the external speaker loud enough to even out the noise level wakes him up, and that's where this sleep mask comes in handy. First, it does what sleep masks are supposed to do: block light. I work the night shift, so I sleep during the day. It's really hard to get a good night's sleep without a mask that blocks the light. Second, it's convenient. There's plenty of padding that feels nice against your face and just enough to lift the mask so the speakers don't press against your head. Third, the position of the speakers can be adjusted to a position that suits you. I usually sleep on my side, so being able to push the speakers back to the very ends of the mask keeps them from pressing on my head. Finally, the speakers have pretty decent sound quality. They can be turned on loud enough to be heard through earbuds and block snoring. Overall this is a quality purchase and way better than the mask I had before.
