Great for the price, but there are a few things to note.

Overall this is a good case for the price. It seems like this should provide ample protection in the event of a fall. However, I bought it because the lid is removable. I assumed this meant it was held in place by magnets like Apple's Smart Cover. Instead, it has a spike that fits into a groove on the body. Although it's detachable, it doesn't snap in and out like the Apple cover. I didn't remove it because I don't know how easy it would be to put it back on. Also, as mentioned in another review, the magnets that keep the folder closed aren't very strong. If it is dropped I think the lid will most likely pop open. I hope I don't find out! UPDATE: Two years later I bought another one for my iPad. The first began to flake off in the area of the rubber hinge. In addition, the transparent plastic part of the case began to turn yellow. I use my iPad extensively every day, so I feel it's holding up well. In my original review, I was wondering how easy it would be to remove and reattach the cover. I didn't remove the cap very often, but when I did it was easy to put it back on once I got used to it. I will say that over time the spine did not seem to stay in the cover. It never came loose on its own, but if I pull hard it falls out. Obviously I think this case is a good deal since I bought a second one. I didn't drop my iPad often, if I did drop it it was protected very well. No dents or dents.
