I bought this with the intention of only having this bag for traveling, whether that be my Mac Air in my backpack or when I went on a trip and needed to take my computer on a flight. What initially appealed to me before buying it was A) the fact that there is a handle B) the computer was inserted vertically from above, on the contrary, it just slides smoothly through the fairing. When I first received it I was shocked at how soft the lining was - I literally made my girlfriend touch it and marvel with me at how soft it was. I find the stylus makes it a lot more portable, and I find I put my computer in a bag to move it from room to room and keep it protected when I'm not using it, especially at night. With other computer cases that didn't have it, there was always a risk that it would fall off because you could only hold it in your hand - nothing more. Very grateful for this and as I said I wasn't expecting to use this for anything other than travel.
