Review on πŸ“Ά High-Performance MikroTik hAP Mini RB931-2nD: Small 2GHz Wireless Access Point, 3x 10/100 Ethernet Ports, 650MHz CPU & RouterOS by Adam Konowski ᠌

A practical product, nothing to complain about.

The case was made by a typical headless designer, it cannot stand on the table - the wires outweigh. As a result, you need to either break off the stand and glue it to the wall, or put it on its side and score - "and so it will do." Got pros: Does not cut speed, powerful enough by the standards of cheap CPU routers. A good transmitter (finishes from the 7th floor to the courtyard, if you unscrew the power). Some cons: The body was made by eccentrics. Few ports. The disadvantage of all Mikrotiks in principle is that in RouterOS they removed filtering by ready-made templates (for example: for a torrent), replacing regexps with L7. Which still need to be written by yourself, and which do not know how to filter by certain bytes in certain places in the package (match string / hex string in Linux). OpenVPN is such that it would be better if it did not exist. Now no one uses TCP transport and login-password authorization, only certificates and UDP.
