Review on 🔊 Altec Lansing iM600 Black Firewire-Charging Portable Audio System for iPod by Patricia Goliday

This device exceeded my expectations. I used to have an original IM3 (should be over 3 years old) and the new unit sounds much, much better. The IM 600 is easy to use, compact, lightweight and loud enough to be enjoyed around the room. The lack of a radio and the high price ($399) cannot be justified. I found the FM radio worked great with the antenna out and the sound was crystal clear. At first my remote wouldn't switch to the next song on the iPod, but the device wasn't properly docked - phew! we really didn't want to let him go. I first bought this unit refurbished from a Revain warehouse and it arrived in perfect condition. Apparently it was opened and repackaged but it was scratch free and like new. Altec Lansing offers an additional year of warranty if you register within 30 days of purchase - this extends the warranty to 2 years. I feel better, saved $35 and would buy again anytime. Like many happy reviewers, you won't be disappointed.
