Review on The FootMate System: Blue Foot Brush Scrubber + Rejuvenating Gel - Made in The USA by Sean Pere

Revainrating 5 out of 5

See you soon, alligator!

I have very dry feet (thanks Mom!). Spiky, calloused alligator feet that crack like California on a high crack. Seriously rude. I don't wear sandals because they are so bad (even in summer). The cracks hurt and the grooves in my feet make my tiled floor even more slippery for me. When I get a pedicure, I pay extra to have them pull out a cheese grater and file off the rough edges. I have several pumice stones, PedEgg, I have used various emulsions and creams etc including a strong one from my orthopedist. My legs beat them all. I wondered how the hell a brush could do what they couldn't, but I desperately tried again. I have severe arthritis and mobility issues and a general lack of flexibility (I don't know a word). The reviews for this scrubber and the fact that I don't have to bend down to use it (other than picking it up) convinced me to give it a try. It's crazy that this mop can make such a difference, but it is. It didn't happen overnight, but after a few days I could feel the difference. A few weeks later my husband told me my legs were like butter lol. And I don't put moisturizer on them for scientific reasons. Just put some soap on it and rub my legs while I shower. I will not do foot modeling but now I can wear sandals etc without shame. It's huge! I haven't even felt the need for a professional pedicure since using this scrubber. And I guarantee the "cheese grater" won't fall out next time. It has suction cups that hold it perfectly to my shower walls but can't hold my textured shower floor. However, the side flaps are wide enough to stand with one foot and rub the other. This is a very small price to pay for soft feet. I rinse it thoroughly and hang it on the shower wall after each use (and nobody in the house is allowed to use it!), it dries completely and has no mold or mildew issues.

Pros
  • Foot massagers
Cons
  • Slightly torn
