Love it so far but a couple of concerns.

Definitely well built but that means a little heavier than I had expected. I have 24/7 arm, hand and shoulder, neck, knee and ribbing pain, and a past fractured pelvis and hip. (I've broken a lot of bones in my life.) I will make it work. I turned down the Handicapped placards that the hospital and state offered me so I would push myself harder and to not use up any that might go to people who really need one. I will adapt. We'll see how it holds up after time. I am no longer the svelte figure of my cycling and surfing days. I am pushing 220# now. Another big concern of mine is that the seating area. Though meshed, it has a 2nd layer of heavy fabric underneath that seems as if it would negate the purpose of the mesh ventilation. Probably because that area is where the mass of a person's weight is concentrated so it may need extra support. I would've prefered that everything be mesh, but almost impossible to find in a quality chair that has leg spans to help the chair to not sink in the sand. I will update as time passes. AS it looks, I think this will be a good purchase.

Pros
  • I love my chair. Although a few issues folding it back up, I think that will change in time.
Cons
  • It may not withstand long-term use
