My mom and I are doing an overhaul of our craft supplies (primarily scrapbooks and beadwork), we have many of these in different sizes. We've used them to store everything from pens and pencils to scraps of paper and acrylic stamps. The best thing we did with it was take all of our acrylic stamps out of the bulk packaging and carefully put them in these bags and then put them in photo boxes. A serious space saver. I also use them to store nails and screws for woodworking. We stock many medium acrylic stamp sets in this particular size (while we're on the subject of craftsmanship, for those who aren't sure what I'm talking about). They are the perfect size for the standard kits you buy at craft stores. On some sets we have shortened the clear backing that holds the stamps so they just slide in. We also placed marker sets of the appropriate color in it. They were delivered on time and well packaged. They open and close easily and securely. 4 mil is ideal for tiny potentially sharp objects or objects that are liquid and can leak. They are strong and are not easily pierced by objects from the inside or outside. We have re-ordered and re-ordered many of these different sizes and multiple times. If I'm selling bulky or delicate items in smaller quantities, that would also be ideal. Highly recommended.
