I was a bit hesitant to buy this radio - the low price made me suspicious. After trying it, I'm very happy with the features. I like the lock feature which locks the buttons and prevents settings from being accidentally changed after I've selected my station and volume. Two notes: If you are using rechargeable AA NiMH batteries, remember that they are only rated for 1.2V, not 1.5V. This "extra" 0.3V is required for the backlight of the display works. The radio will still work on 1.2V AA, but the light will not turn on. The instruction manual also mentions how to set up the TV. This feature is not available because the US TV standard is now digital (ATSC) instead of analog (NTSC).
