I bought these mainly because the 3030 chipset is supposed to be very efficient (ie. lots of lumen output for very little amperage draw). I put them on my bench to measure the ratio.didn't even get to amp draw. They were so dim I immediately stuck them back in the package to return. I'd say they were about half or 2/3 the luminous flux (light output) of my factory bulbs. Granted, I bought the amber color (can't stand the sterile blue LED look). Amber will inherently be less bright than "bright white" or "daytime" colored LED's. But again, it wasn't even close.they were WAY more dim. I can't imagine the "daytime" white would be all that much better.I will say they didn't seem to get as hot as other LED's I've tried, which indicates there is less wasted energy as heat, therefor less amp draw, so in theory, they should be quite efficient, which would be good if you're doing a lot of camping and/or RV'ing and battery draw is a consideration. I didn't measure actual draw, so take this with a grain of salt.I'm using these in a camping/overlanding rig. Efficiency is very important. I'm still going to look elsewhere.
