First seal lasted a week with little use - Sealing gift bags for a little girl's birthday (12, 12 x 16 very thin bags). I then used it to seal plastic freezer bags (20 pack in 3-4 days). The seal was very hot and made this horrible noise and then stopped working after 7 days. I sent it back and asked for a replacement (I thought I got a defective one in the first batch). The second arrived quickly and only lasted 4 days with even lighter use. I had to replace the nonstick cloth after 2 days and the heating element after 3 days as it burned packets in certain spots - it was at its lowest point. This sealant also had horrible internal noise that started on day 4. Now he's dead. Two bad seals in one week, right? Please do not buy this - you will regret your purchase!
