I bought this spoon holder to replace a ceramic spoon holder that my husband dropped and broke. I like that it's big and can hold more than one spoon; it also fits in a large silicone tray. This is a type of thin ceramic, so you need to be extra careful with it. You can wash it in the dishwasher, but hand washing is recommended as it's thinner than others I've had.
