We LOVE Perler Beadwork! I have 4 years so this is definitely not a solo craft for her. But we have fun doing it together. These sets have their pros and cons. ADVANTAGES: - cute design that's pretty easy to copy - fun colors - the pegboard is open so designs not included in the instructions are possible. CONS: - Who came up with this nightmarish packaging? - difficult to open without the beads flying around the room - thin trays make it difficult for adult fingers to reach the beads - there is no way to store the beads once opened. Should we use all the beads in one session? I transferred any remaining beads to the bead organizer I had at home. I'm keeping this board along with the others we've recently put together. Perler, PLEASE reconsider the packaging design. This is a kids craft but not for kids.
