Hello everyone. That's right, "cones" are pressed flat and not individually. This requires each to be carefully carved for use. This aspect is not really a problem if you are careful and follow my trick. Using a razor blade, carefully make slits separating each "cone" on the flat side. Don't go all the way. Then repeat with the other pressed side. Then start cutting off the vertical side - it should be such that the cuts you made earlier will help the cone come off all the way. There will be some dust. Just be patient and careful with your razor. Hope that helps! The product smells really great, so it's worth the extra effort.
