The swing is very easy to assemble, it came with the necessary wrench so the swing was assembled 4 screws later and ready to hang. Plus it comes with all the brackets, hinges and straps to hang it up however you like. We have an inner stand that we hold the swing on most of the time, but it can be hung under our deck using the straps provided if it's not too hot. Also, the swing height can be adjusted on the sides of the swing so you don't have to constantly struggle with the top knot. Highly recommended!
