This bed is soft and cozy (material) but the bottom pillow has absolutely no support. Unfortunately I definitely have to send this bed back because I just love the material. My Pitbull is only seven years old but she needs some support. it only touches the hard ground. She only weighs 50 pounds. Dogs are considered old, I think, at six. So I can't let her have this bed, much as I'd like to. Your dog will lie on a hard floor with no support other than a fluffy pillow. Such a crap. You might as well spend $100 to buy a name brand device.
