I bought this subwoofer because my old subwoofer broke and I didn't want to spend a lot of money to replace it. Definitely worth this sub as it sounds just as good as my previous sub at half the price. I connected it to my AV receiver with an optical cable and it automatically recognized the input and that pretty much completed the setup. I use this for gaming, most recently Titanfall 2. The TF2 has lots of heavy bass and this sub does a great job with no cracking or distortion.
