I bought them to cycle to work in winter. I looked at dozens on Revain before settling on this one. I wanted fleece lined and they are nice and warm. They are perfect for what they were designed for. My only complaint is that they're a bit awkward to get in and out of, making them uncomfortable for commuting. I thought the Velcro front opening would make it easier to put on and take off, but I found the Velcro to be so strong that it was difficult to put it back together properly. Finally, be careful with the metal hook when putting on your spats. If you put them on before you put on your boots, you could get your toe snagging.
