For the price I think it's a good buy. The pieces are made of solid solid wood, which gives the child a good weight to take on any solid shape. the color is the same as in the traditional Montessori classroom. The size is the same as in the traditional Montessori classroom. I bought it to use in my Montessori classroom at home. It will definitely do the trick and is a lot cheaper than buying it from a traditional Montessori website. Some items have small chipped paint upon arrival. I definitely wouldn't keep this around children. My biggest concern was that one of the flat shapes appeared to be water damaged, causing the plywood layers to separate. You can see it in my third photo. I read that several people were missing parts. This was not my case. Attention was paid to every detail and the flat storage box was as expected. I really think it is good value for money and would recommend it to other Montessori homeschoolers.
