Review on SiriusLED Extremely Chipset Interior Courtesy by Kyle Hong

I have to say the overall design of these bulbs is good and they are true to size as they are the same size as the 168 and 194 halogen bulbs they are intended to replace. With some photography experience I would say they give off a very bluish light not a white light as stated in the description. Many of the overview photos must have used auto white balance to correct the blue cast produced by these lamps to make the light appear more pure white. The luminous flux is on par with conventional halogen lamps and definitely not twice as high as in the description. Our eyes are more sensitive to bluish light, so these lamps give the illusion of being brighter than yellowish halogen lamps. Although they are not brighter, I find the bluish light harsh and very tiring, like a camera flash. I will return them and try to find something lighter and less harsh with a color temperature closer to 3500 Kelvin.
