There were no issues with the simplicity of pairing with the game system. The microphone is fine, and the volume controls for the chat and game are quite helpful. Among the drawbacks are the following: Fits the head like a glove. The persistent pressure on the cheekbones and the lack of clarity of the control buttons are barely perceptible if your head is significantly larger than typical. You can't play without making a continual racket in the conversation if you're charging at the same time. And, the noise. Very poor frequency response, but excellent shooting accuracy. Nowadays, only a small number of initiatives make use of 3D, but the results are promising when they do. In the end, I paid the asking price of $4,000 because it was the best value. I think it's a bad deal at $10,000 right now.
