I'm 36 DD. Usually buy large shirts and 12 or 14 pants. I bought this big one. It fitted almost perfectly to the size of the chest. I didn't like that you could see the lining of the cups forming an odd line, but the top stayed upright and supported which was very impressive. The side wire got stuck and irritated some after a few hours of wearing. As for the underbust fabric, I'm not super hippie, but I still have an hourglass shape. This bottom fabric was loose and a bit long, which I usually love (and didn't mind), but the middle fabric would have been more flattering around my waist (but then it would have been too small at the bust). This top would be perfect for someone my height and bust who has wider hips or a front weight on the stomach. There's a lot of fabric, and it will still be very flattering on you. In addition, the back is also tightened.
