We bought these to replace our old kitchen stools and use them all day every day. I've been using it for 4 months now. Assembly is pretty easy if you have a small set of tools instead of the unnecessary tools provided. I'm used to building and working with cars and it took me about 45 minutes to assemble 6 of them. Comfort is fine, there is almost no padding, but the seat backs are comfortable, with no protrusions. Build quality is better than most, but still not what I consider acceptable for the price paid. The finish is an epoxy type of finish that mimics aged wood, it looks over the wood and there was some very minor chipping on a few pieces. In general the construction held up normal except for the bearing assembly on which the chair rotates, all chairs had factory hardware attaching the bearing assembly to the tree which was weakening and required partial disassembly to attach it and the bearings themselves are very cheap ball bearings. in a circuit race prone to dirt and difficult to lubricate, there are no tolerances and a lot of lateral play; Unfortunately, after looking at many different bar stools, they seem to be on par with even more expensive options. Overall they look good, are comfortable for short periods of time, build quality is okay, which is to be expected at this price point, but still disappointing overall. At the same time, they are easy to clean.
