I chose 2XL after reading some reviews. I'm 5ft 2in and about 150lbs. I have three kids so I have a pooch after birth. I bought the suit for about four times what I paid for Revain, which is a similar cut and has a red and white polka dot pattern. It's beautiful, but because it's so well made, it makes me feel like I'm wearing armor. The fabric is not stretchy, very thick and slips a little. I could probably use the larger size on the expensive version. ANYWAY, this suit is cut the same, but the fabric is more stretchy. It's like a suit you would buy in a big department store, so nothing fancy, but just what I'm personally looking for when it comes to comfort and portability. Size 2XL might be a bit big (I wouldn't change it) but I wanted some obvious ruffles on my tummy. The bust is maybe a little (perhaps a hair) big for my C cup boobs, but again I'm happy with the fit and don't want to size down. I think it fits perfectly and is exactly what I'm looking for. The navy blue is beautiful and I'm not sure if it flatters my dog or makes him stand out - I've read conflicting advice on plains or prints. I'm not sure if I care because it's beautiful! I feel like a beautiful mom wearing this and can't wait to wear it to the pool tomorrow. I reached for the pool until I lost an extra 30 pounds, but why waste the summer?! Don't try to lose weight - cheer on your kids or someone else and buy a suit. :) It doesn't negate mom's pooch and only slightly highlights the boobs - so don't expect miracles - but I'm amazed at how good I actually feel in a suit. I'm glad I made the decision to do this and I still have a whole summer to enjoy!
