I prefer a short beard but it is very rough and itchy. I usually shave them off a few weeks after I've gotten what I wanted. I have never used beard oil and was skeptical about it. But after 2 days my rough and stiff beard felt much softer. It also became less itchy. The product is easy to apply, works well, the smell is not overpowering. Try it, you will like it.
