Rough start, but solid purchase

I ordered them as an upgrade in February and had a pretty good time with them. Initially I had serious problems connecting and syncing both earbuds to my phone. They appeared as two separate devices and only played one at a time, which was definitely frustrating. I almost repacked them to return them but did a little research first instead. It turns out this is a common problem. My friend with smaller ears couldn't do it no matter what attachments were used. The battery life is quite acceptable for me. It was weeks before I finally heard the launch voice telling me, for a change, "The battery is low." The carrying case, which doubles as a charger, has a lifespan of around 4-7 days, which is fantastic for me is. Recharging happens infrequently enough that I don't have to think about it (which only bothered me once). And USB-C is a godsend for those who use it as a phone port. Obviously the sound quality is the deciding factor and they shouldn't disappoint. In my opinion they are very reasonable for those with reasonable expectations. Low frequencies are clearly defined, which is great for the gym or work if you want to pump some. The mids are honestly a bit lost and can be unsatisfying for some. The highs could have been worse; They would probably sound stronger if it weren't for the intense low frequencies. The noise-cancellation is passive, but due to the snug fit on the ears (the right one at least), they block out more than I expected. If I had to describe the nature of the sound, I'd say it sounds "dense," not full-blooded, but fat, if that makes sense. "Full" implies a spacious, balanced style of surround sound, while being more in line with a condensed musical flow. This is partly due to the expressionless mids. Most of the time I like them to be honest.

Pros
  • Incredible sound with Graphene drivers: Play music with a wider soundstage and exceptional fidelity and clarity. BassUp technology boosts bass by 43%, while aptX audio provides lossless audio between your device and wireless headphones.
