Review on VIVO Universal Adapter VESA Mount Kit - Secure πŸ–₯️ Mounting for 20-32 inch Flat and Curved Monitors! (100x100mm, Black) by Michael Murphy

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perhaps one of the best adapters.

What I don't understand is why they make a monitor without a VESA mount. Product Review: This is probably one of the best adapters out there. I liked the horizontal main brace with vertical arms instead of the X-arms, and I liked the adjustable braces. I bought two to set up two HP 27 monitors. The instructions are good, but I highly recommend watching VIVO's assembly video above before you begin. After reading some reviews I cut the 1" x 2" PVC bar into 24" lengths and taped them to the top of the monitors with double sided tape. This allowed me to use thumbscrews for the top support and a more even distribution of pressure (You still have to be very gentle and just kiss your back.) After taking measurements and completing one, I knew exactly what to do with the second and it took half the time.Once attached was up and all the screws were tightened it felt very solid and not wobbly at all I would recommend this and you will be fine as long as you follow the instructions and videos it is just a bit of extra work for something that came from the start on should have been there Background or how I bought a monitor without VESA mounts: I bought an HP 27 on sale a few years ago and used it to connect my laptops used. so I rarely work from home. I was disappointed that it doesn't have a VESA mount but it's a good monitor and for the price I bought it I could live with it. When my company sent us home last March, I bought two used Dell P2412Hb monitors on Facebook Marketplace. These were the exact same monitors we had at work. To free up space on my desk, I bought a Mount-It monitor mount with two arms and a gas piston and attached Dell monitors to it. This worked fine until last month when a monitor had power issues. (It wouldn't wake from sleep unless you kept turning it on until it turned on.) I looked into this until last week when it didn't come back twenty minutes later. I removed this monitor and plugged in an HP 27. I just put it on a stand on top of some phone books. The stand looks nice, but there's only a single lever at the base, so it wobbles. Well, I can't stand mismatched items, especially ones with a difference in brightness, so I bought another HP 27 (double what I paid for it). I bought one on sale) and started looking for a VESA adapter so I could attach it to my mount. (You can read my product review above.). Now I have them installed and connected and they work great. The bracket keeps them in place and the adapter keeps both of them secure.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Good but not great
