I've needed a larger kimchi container for a long time. I almost stopped making it because one gallon can was too small and two of them were too big. I've always used a gallon can, liter can, and liter can. I recently did a batch and went to Maangchi's website to refresh the numbers. I've seen the container before but never noticed. Since I didn't have time to wait, I bought a double-ended Sterilite container and placed it in my covered (but unheated) shed filled with kimchi. Of course, after a few days, the room was filled with the smell of kimchi. The temperature there was quite chilly, probably 45F, and my cabbage was fermenting for a long time. That's why I ordered Komax Biokip. He arrived two days later. As you can see from the photo, my kimchi is fermenting well on the fridge in the kitchen. My house doesn't smell at all. I highly recommend it and will replace it with another of the same kind if necessary.
